# Sequel

> Sequel is the company brain your agents run on. It connects the systems your company already runs on, learns how your team defines every metric, and hands that to any AI agent over MCP. It manages authentication, credentials, and query execution so the AI tools you already use (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and any MCP-capable agent) can securely query your cloud databases, warehouses, product analytics, and SaaS tools. Connect a source once: your agents talk to Sequel, and Sequel talks to your data, so adding a new tool is a permission grant rather than a secret-sharing exercise. The brain is built on your systems of record, not your stale documents: Sequel does not index wikis or Slack threads, it connects the systems those documents are usually wrong about.
