CSV to Pie Chart — Free Online Tool
A pie chart shows each category's share of the total. It works best with a small number of categories (ideally under 8) where the relative proportions are the main story — market share, budget allocation, traffic sources.
Upload your CSV, select the label column (category names) and value column (numeric values), and the chart is drawn immediately. If your CSV has multiple rows per category, choose an aggregation (Sum is most common for pie charts).
Frequently asked questions
What is the maximum number of slices recommended?
Pie charts become hard to read beyond 7–8 slices. For more categories, consider a bar chart instead.
What is the difference between a pie chart and a donut chart?
A donut chart has a hollow center. Both show the same data — the donut variant can feel cleaner in dashboards and allows a center label.
