Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Google Search Console?

Click 'New Connection', select Google Search Console, give it a name, and connect with Google OAuth. Sequel requests read-only access. The process takes under a minute.

Why is there a delay in Search Console data?

Google Search Console data typically lags 2–4 days. This is a Google limitation. Sequel queries GSC directly and shows exactly what is available.

What data does Sequel pull from Search Console?

Sequel accesses the GSC Search Analytics API, including clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position, breakable down by query, page, device, country, and date.

Can I query Search Console data alongside Google Analytics?

Yes. Connect both sources and ask cross-source questions like 'Which pages have high GSC impressions but poor GA4 engagement?'

Is there a query or date range limit?

The GSC API returns up to 25,000 rows per request and supports queries up to 16 months back. Sequel handles pagination automatically for large result sets.

Can I filter by country or device?

Yes. You can ask country or device specific questions like 'Show me mobile CTR for my top pages' and Sequel will apply the correct filters.
